As our network continues to grow, we're looking for a hands-on, commercially minded Facilities & Minor Works Manager to lead facilities management, maintenance programs and venue refresh projects across our national portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of restaurants, ensuring our venues remain safe, compliant, operationally efficient and consistently aligned with Burger Urge brand standards. Reporting to the Head of Development, you'll work closely with Franchise Partners, Operations, Property, Construction and external contractors to drive maintenance performance, deliver venue refresh projects and improve the overall condition of the Burger Urge network. About the Role This role combines facilities management, project management and asset management responsibilities, providing a broad and varied workload across a national hospitality network. Your responsibilities will include: Facilities Management Manage the national maintenance program across corporate and franchised venues. Coordinate reactive maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution. Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules. Oversee contractor performance, compliance and service delivery. Manage facilities budgets and maintenance expenditure. Coordinate landlord maintenance obligations and lease-related maintenance matters. Maintain asset registers, facilities systems and maintenance records. Ensure venues remain compliant with health, safety and operational requirements. Minor Works & Venue Refresh Projects Plan and deliver venue refresh and improvement projects across the network. Develop scopes of work, project budgets and business cases. Coordinate furniture, fixtures, signage, lighting and customer experience upgrades. Manage projects from planning through to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and with minimal disruption to operations. Project & Contractor Management Manage multiple minor capital works projects simultaneously. Coordinate contractors, suppliers, consultants and landlords. Source and engage preferred contractors and specialist suppliers. Obtain and evaluate quotations and tenders. Manage project risks, defects, warranties and close-out activities. Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives. Budget & Compliance Management Prepare annual maintenance and refresh program budgets. Monitor expenditure and forecast capital requirements. Ensure compliance with building regulations, lease obligations and workplace health and safety requirements. Coordinate landlord and shopping centre approvals. Maintain contractor licences, insurances and compliance documentation. About You You're a proactive problem-solver who enjoys managing a diverse portfolio of projects and stakeholders. You'll bring: 5+ years' experience in Facilities Management, Project Management, Construction, Retail Asset Management or a related field. Experience managing multi-site retail, hospitality or franchise networks. Strong contractor and supplier management experience. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent commercial, budgeting and financial management skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management capability. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Experience using facilities management or project management systems. Trade, Project Management or tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded. Why Burger Urge?
