About the Role Join Super Retail Group as a Network & Communications Engineer where you'll play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting reliable network and communication solutions that keep our business connected. Reporting to the Head of Network & Communications Platforms, you'll be responsible for planning and delivering network configurations, managing the rollout of new platforms, and maintaining and optimising existing systems to ensure maximum uptime and performance. This is a great opportunity to work across both local and wide area networks in a dynamic, large-scale environment while contributing to continuous improvement and innovation. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Network & Communications Infrastructure: Provisions/installs, configures, and maintains infrastructure services and components. Network Support: Carries out agreed network maintenance tasks and specified operational configuration of network components. Configuration Management: Applies tools, techniques and processes to track, log and correct information related to configuration items. Customer Service Support: Acts as the routine contact point, receiving and handling requests for support. Responds to a broad range of service requests for support by providing information to fulfil requests or enable resolution. Please note that this role requires some on-call availability. The successful candidate must be willing to respond to urgent issues that may arise outside of regular working hours during scheduled on-call periods. This role is based at our Brisbane Support Office in Strathpine, operating in a hybrid work environment. About you We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Network & Communications Engineer with a strong foundation in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network environments. You thrive in fast-paced settings, enjoy solving complex technical challenges, and take pride in delivering reliable, high-performing solutions. With a strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset, you're confident working across both project delivery and operational support, ensuring systems are optimised, secure, and fit for purpose. In addition, you bring: Demonstrated experience in the design, configuration, and commissioning of telco carriage services (e.g. Optus, Megaport, Telstra, Vodafone) Demonstrated experience in the design, implementation, support, tuning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of networks (including SDWAN) and voice, while providing enterprise security, solutions design and delivery, migrations, and infrastructure automation, alerts, and monitoring across a wide range of platforms Experience in implementing and managing Voice over IP (VoIP) platforms Experience in large (+150 sites) geographically diverse network environments Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices Strong experience across networking and voice platforms, including Cisco, Meraki, AWS, Cisco Collaboration, and Webex Certification: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Desirable but not essential: Experience in Python and other network automation practices Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist (CMSS) ITIL Certification WHY JOIN US?
