We are looking for a creative, organised and motivated Marketing Coordinator to support the delivery of engaging marketing campaigns, strengthen brand awareness, and help us connect with the communities we serve.
About the Role
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role plays an important part in executing Afford's marketing strategy and supporting initiatives that drive brand awareness, client engagement and business growth. You'll work across a variety of marketing activities including campaign coordination, content creation, events, stakeholder engagement and brand management.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for delivering high-quality marketing outcomes.

What you'll do:
- Coordinate and support integrated marketing campaigns that drive engagement, lead generation and brand awareness.
- Create, edit, proofread and schedule marketing content across email, social media, website and other digital channels.
- Assist with campaign planning, briefs, timelines and delivery.
- Manage Afford's annual events and expo calendar, including logistics, communications and reporting.
- Coordinate marketing materials, signage, promotional assets and brand collateral.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers including agencies, designers and printers.
- Coordinate photography and video shoots as required.
- Maintain accurate records of marketing activity, budgets and invoices.
- Prepare reports, presentations and campaign performance updates.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to help keep our marketing relevant and effective.
About You:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Advertising or a related discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- A customer-focused mindset with a genuine interest in understanding audience needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools is highly regarded.
- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel as required.
- A strong commitment to working within a purpose-driven organisation.
