As a part of the Customer Technical Services Design team, within Customer Delivery Group, you will undertake a variety of works associated with the design and construction of Evoenergy's Electrical Network. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of constructing and maintaining a future and safety focused electricity network for the ACT. Key responsibilities: Analysing and understanding customers' enquiries and requests (including network initiated works), often within a multi-disciplinary technical environment, to accurately formulate a response, connection offer and/or project scope of works Undertake the creation and ongoing documentation updates (including status updates) for projects within Evoenergy information systems including primary/secondary systems designs, complex wiring diagrams, schematics, schedules, inspection test plans (ITP) and issued for construction drawing packages. Performing calculations and assessments for various complex design criteria including network analysis, overhead and underground reticulation, earthing assessments/design, and LV drop calculations Undertake to develop and modify operational methods, practices and standards related to automation of electricity network including chamber substations. Preparing and reviewing commercially sound customer offer/contract documents covering all aspects and all phases of the project Managing customers' expectations by communicating capabilities and responsibilities with respect to delivery of services and through being the single point of contact throughout the project for design and technical matters. Advanced Diploma, or equivalent, in Electrical Engineering (essential), Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) Demonstrated experience gained from exposure to an asset intensive industry (e.g. mining, petro chemical, distribution / transmission network provider, heavy industry / infrastructure) in design of complex electricity distribution projects, including; padmount/chamber substations, switchyards, overhead and underground networks Background in Protection and SCADA About Evoenergy We own, maintain and operate the electricity distribution network in the ACT and the gas network in the ACT and parts of NSW.
