About the role:
This position offers a diverse and engaging workload, with regular rotations through treatment, planning, and CT to maintain a broad skill set and ensure ongoing professional development. Team members are encouraged to continually refresh and expand their knowledge, keeping pace with evolving techniques and technologies.
Beyond day-to-day clinical duties, there are opportunities to participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, departmental CPD sessions, quality improvement initiatives, and project and protocol development. Staff with an interest in leadership can also access mentoring opportunities to build supervisory and leadership skills. This is an excellent role for someone who enjoys variety, continuous learning, and contributing to the ongoing growth and innovation of the service.
You will be supported through a structured orientation and onboarding program tailored to your experience level, ensuring you feel confident and well supported as you transition into the role. You will receive comprehensive training across all clinical areas, with guidance from experienced colleagues and access to ongoing mentoring and support.

Requirements:
- Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Radiation Therapy)/Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Sciences) - Radiation Therapy or equivalent qualifications recognised by the MRPBA.
- Fully registered with AHPRA as a Radiation Therapist.
- Hold or be eligible to hold a NSW radiation licence (as issued by the Environment Protection Agency (EPA) regulatory body licence.

* Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract. All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions. If your contract ends before the agreed completion date, you may be required to repay a portion of the incentive. Please note: the increased RHWIS allowance is approved until 30th June 2026. Commencement after this date may be subject to change, including the allowance amount for which the candidate may be eligible.
