About the Opportunity

We are seeking three motivated and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialists Grade 2 to join our team in full-time positions. This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your clinical leadership skills while contributing to the delivery of safe, high-quality and person-centred care. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2, you will play a key role in supporting excellence in clinical practice, driving quality improvement initiatives and promoting evidence-based care within your specialty area. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes and contribute to the ongoing development of clinical services. This role offers the opportunity to utilise your advanced clinical knowledge and experience while mentoring colleagues, supporting best practice and contributing to positive patient experiences.

What You Will Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care within your specialty area
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of clinical practice improvements
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and patient-centred care
  • Support quality improvement activities and patient safety initiatives
  • Act as a clinical resource and mentor for less experienced staff
  • Promote best practice and support positive patient outcomes

About you

Our ideal candidate is a passionate and experienced clinician who is committed to clinical excellence and continuous improvement.

You will demonstrate:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Eligibility for appointment as a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2
  • Strong clinical knowledge and experience within your specialty area
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to evidence-based practice and quality improvement
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

Additional Information

To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.
