Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic oversight and expert guidance on major projects, ensuring Safety & Wellbeing requirements are integrated from design through to delivery.
- Lead high-impact initiatives that strengthen capability, lift performance and deliver sustainable Safety & Wellbeing outcomes across the Supply Chain.
- Partner with key stakeholders to manage compliance in critical risk areas and position the business to respond confidently to evolving legislative requirements.
- Oversee the Safety Capital Prioritisation process to ensure critical investments are targeted, well-governed and aligned to the highest areas of risk and opportunity.

- Build and inspire a high-performing team, strengthening capability, engagement and leadership impact to deliver meaningful and lasting results.
About You:
You are a credible and capable leader with a passion for Safety & Wellbeing and a track record of delivering meaningful results. You bring the confidence to lead in complex operational environments, balancing technical expertise with commercial insight, and you know how to influence others to create a culture of care, accountability and continuous improvement across the Supply Chain.
- Qualifications in EHS or a related discipline, with additional investigation or risk management training highly regarded.
- A strong background in EHS, ideally gained within FMCG, manufacturing, logistics or other high-risk operational environments.
- Experience in safety management systems, risk assessment, incident investigation and the application of critical controls.
- Knowledge of injury management, early intervention and rehabilitation, with an appreciation for the broader wellbeing agenda.
- A proven ability to coach and influence leaders, building ownership and accountability for Safety & Wellbeing across teams.
- Demonstrated success leading change, delivering projects and driving continuous improvement in complex environments.
- The ability to build trusted, credible relationships at all levels of the business and work effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Ability to build team capability and talent pipeline.
This is a fantastic opportunity for internal talent to step up, stretch into a larger leadership remit, and play a pivotal role in shaping Asahi's Safety & Wellbeing future.
