The Team
Become part of a dedicated team of 45 physiotherapy professionals, including a Manager, Deputy Managers, Clinical Lead Physiotherapists, and both Senior and Junior Physiotherapists. We operate across three sites, delivering high-quality care in acute, subacute, and community settings.

The Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our rotational team, working across three diverse healthcare sites in North West Tasmania. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career clinicians to gain broad experience and develop core competencies in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Locations are North West Regional Hospital, Mersey Community Hospital, Devonport Community and Health Services Centre.
As a Rotational Physiotherapist, you will undertake 4-month rotations across key clinical areas, including:
- Outpatient Services
- Medical and ICU Wards
- Surgical Ward
- Inpatient Rehabilitation
You will work closely with experienced physiotherapists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. Each rotation is designed to build clinical confidence, foster professional growth, and support your transition into a well-rounded physiotherapy career.

Who We're Looking For:
- AHPRA-registered Physiotherapist (or eligible for registration)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning
- Ability to work effectively within a team
You will need
- Build clinical skills across Outpatients, Medical/ICU, Surgical, and Rehab settings
- Work across three diverse sites: NWRH, MCH & DCHSC
- Thrive in a supportive team with mentoring, learning, and person-centred care

Permanent full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you can join our team!

Salary
$81,614 to $117,074 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025
Salary Packaging
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Allowances
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum

Eligibility
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.
- Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
- Registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
