About the Team:
This role sits within the VU Business School, part of the College of Arts, Business, Law, Education and IT. Based at our City Tower Campus in Melbourne's CBD, the School delivers future-focused programs across accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, , information systems, business analytics, supply chain, tourism and hospitality. Strong industry connections underpin our teaching, enabling applied learning, collaboration, and professional growth opportunities for students.
About the Role:
As a Lecturer in Information Systems and Business Analytics, you will contribute to teaching, research, academic leadership, and service across the Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Accounting, and Master of Business Analytics programs. You will deliver engaging learning experiences, support student achievement, and contribute to the ongoing development of innovative and relevant curricula in information systems and business analytics.
Position Details:
- Classification: Lecturer - Academic Level B
- Salary: $113,221 per annum to $134,449 per annum plus 17% Superannuation
- Employment Type: Full Time Continuing
- Hours per Week: 36.75
- Location: City Tower Campus

About You:
- Are an enthusiastic and innovative academic with a PhD in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
- Have experience in teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels and can deliver engaging learning experiences in information systems, business analytics, or related fields.
- Are developing a strong research profile, supported by scholarly activity and publications. You are also a collaborative colleague who contributes to a positive and inclusive academic culture.

Have strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, you build effective relationships with students, colleagues, and external partners. Your cross-cultural awareness enables you to work effectively with diverse communities and create inclusive learning environment.
