About the role


We're looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented team player to join our Helidon Manufacturing team as a Material Handler / Magazine Keeper.

In this role, you'll support the safe and efficient operation of our magazine areas, handling the dispatch and receipt of products, detonators, and raw materials in line with the Australian Explosives Code and Orica's Safety, Health, Environment (SHE) standards.

What you will be doing

  • Safely pick, pack, load, and unload materials to meet operational schedules;
  • Support Inventory Coordinators with daily warehouse and distribution activities;
  • Monitor explosives storage limits in line with regulatory requirements;
  • Complete inventory transactions using scanners and SAP;
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.

What you will bring

  • Experience in warehousing, inventory, or magazine operations (desirable);
  • Strong safety mindset and willingness to learn compliance requirements;
  • Basic knowledge of manual handling and ergonomics;
  • Forklift licence (required);
  • Ability to obtain MR/HR licence;
  • SAP or similar inventory system experience (advantageous).
