Position Overview As a Control Room Operator, you will play a critical role in the coordination and monitoring of site operations. You will be responsible for managing communications, responding to incidents, and ensuring the smooth functioning of cleaning and security services across designated sites. Location: Chatswood, NSW (major shopping centre) Work Type: Part Time Roster: Monday to Wednesday: (Day time) Award Level: Level 5 Key Responsibilities Monitor CCTV systems and site activity to ensure safety and compliance Coordinate cleaning and security teams across multiple locations Respond to alarms, incidents, and service requests in real-time Maintain accurate logs and incident reports Communicate with site supervisors, clients, and emergency services as needed Ensure adherence to operational procedures and safety protocols Support rostering, shift coverage, and workforce coordination Reviewing CCTV footage archive and save Operating access panel systems Inputting reports into the system Allocating roving guard on daily tasks Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience in a control room or operations coordination role preferred Strong communication and multitasking skills Familiarity with CCTV, radio, and dispatch systems Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond quickly to incidents Basic computer literacy and report writing skills Availability for shift work, including nights, weekends, and public holidays Security license (1A) or relevant certifications may be required depending on site Why Join Millennium?
