Your role and responsibilities
The Technical Account Manager plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty for their assigned accounts. The Technical Account Manager ensures the customer receives exceptional service as Overall responsible for Scope of Work and single point of contact for assigned customer/s.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty in your assigned accounts. Each day, you will assist with customers' technical requests and engage with colleagues to take care of any technical issues. You will also showcase your expertise by managing service contracts deliverables, on time delivery, customers' requirements, and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPI), while keeping track of performance metrics and communicating progress to internal and customer stakeholders.
The work model for the role is: hybrid
You will be mainly accountable for:
Customer liaison managing technical requests, coordinating information flow, and ensuring contractaligned support across teams.
Relationship building with customers at technical, maintenance, and operational levels while proactively anticipating account needs.
Service coordination including resource alignment, contract growth opportunities, lifecycle planning, KPI tracking, and ontime delivery of commitments.
Value reporting through clear measurement, communication, and renewal management to demonstrate service impact to key stakeholders.
Qualifications for the role
Engineering degree (or recognized equivalent) in appropriate field.
More than 5 years' experience in multi-disciplinary electrical, automation and Control projects/service role, working with ABB 800xA Control System.
Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools, including but not limited to 800xA, Control Builder, AC800M, Power Management Systems, IEC61850 knowledge, Modbus Communication and Networking.
IT/Networking skills including system virtualisation, Active directory experience, Microsoft Office and MS Project, etc. Cyber security experience (Beneficial)
TUV Functional Safety Qualified (Beneficial)
