Limestone Coast Brewing is a multi-award-winning brewery with a growing hospitality division and an exciting future ahead. With a brand-new alfresco area opening this winter and trade continuing to strengthen, we're looking for an experienced hospitality professional to lead our Malaga venue. This opportunity would suit either: An experienced Venue Manager looking for a hands-on role with a smaller team and less corporate pressure; or A capable Duty Manager ready to take the next step into venue leadership, with mentoring and support provided. About the Role Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our brewery venue, ensuring exceptional customer experiences while leading a small team of 4-5 staff. This is not a desk-based management role. Approximately 80% of your time will be spent on the floor supporting customers and staff, leading by example and ensuring the venue runs smoothly. Unlike many hospitality venues, we offer trading hours that support a healthier work-life balance, with no late-night finishes until the early hours of the morning. Our venue operates: Wednesday: 12pm - 7pm Thursday: 12pm - 9pm Friday: 12pm - 10pm Saturday: 12pm - 10pm Sunday: 12pm - 8pm Monday: 2:30pm - 5:30pm Tuesday: 12pm - 9:30pm Requirements Key Responsibilities Oversee daily venue operations Lead, train and mentor staff Open and close the venue independently Manage rostering, labour costs and staff performance Maintain high standards of customer service and venue presentation Coordinate bookings, functions and events Manage stock ordering and inventory control Assist with promotions, local marketing initiatives and social media engagement Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, food safety and workplace health and safety requirements What We're Looking For Hospitality leadership experience as a Venue Manager, Assistant Venue Manager or Duty Manager Strong leadership and communication skills A hands-on approach and willingness to lead from the front Ability to work weekends and provide operational support when required Sound understanding of hospitality operations and customer service excellence Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Approved Manager certification (or ability to obtain) Benefits Why Join Us?
