About the Opportunity

To support the delivery of iconic Melbourne projects we are seeking EOI from Senior Design Coordinator candidates with proven infrastructure project experience to be a part of our Team.

A day could look like this:

  • Ensure that the design activities are properly coordinated in respect to inter-discipline and functional interface issues.
  • Review designs in line with statutory and legislative, construction and operational requirements.
  • Facilitate the resolution of any design issues from a technical and/or construction perspective.
  • Monitor any design issues which may arise out of defect rectification, value engineering or interface with external bodies
  • Review and arrange construction support including design team inspection and supervision as required.

Qualifications and experience that will deem you suitable

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline from a recognised tertiary institution
  • Valid Australian working rights
  • Project management skills with the ability to work on projects with multiple participants and stakeholders
  • Manage/liaise with design consultants
  • Ability to work with and manage project plans and resource requirements
  • High level of conceptual and analytical skills
  • Ability to respond to significant demands quickly and accurately and adapt to complex environments, Ability to hand high stress environments with resilience
