What's the role?

Reporting to the Head of Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all village services, catering operations, accommodation services, housekeeping, and associated support functions. You will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations while fostering a positive team culture and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large multidisciplinary catering and village services teams.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality catering, accommodation, housekeeping, and hospitality services.
  • Drive operational performance through effective workforce planning, rostering, and resource management.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, HACCP, health and safety, and contractual requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and site leadership teams.
  • Monitor operational performance through reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve operational and service excellence.
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaged workplace culture.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience managing large catering and village services teams.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP principles.
  • Proven leadership experience within remote sites, camps, hospitality, catering, accommodation, or village environments.
  • Excellent people leadership, stakeholder engagement, and client relationship management skills.
  • Experience supporting operational compliance, service delivery standards, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Ability to travel safely to and from work
  • Physically fit and able to work long shifts (up to 11 hours)
  • You will be required to obtain a National Police Check, should you not have one dated within the last 6 months
  • Ability to endure remote environments in extreme weather conditions
  • Must pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening
