Position Summary:
Assist the Accounts Payable team with:
- Ensureinvoicesanddeliverydocketsarebeingmatchedwithcorrespondingapprovedpurchaseorderandhave adequate authorisation.
- EnsurecorrectGeneralLedgercodesareconsistentlybeingusedandrecordedonallinvoices.
- Ensurepayment runsare performed on atimelybasisin line with agreedcredit terms.
- Preparepayment runs for approval and attach all supporting documentation and present to the Director of Finance andGeneral Manager.
- Liaisewithexternalsuppliersandinternalclaimantstoachievecompliancewithsystems,proceduresand processes.
AssisttheIncomeAuditteamwith:
- Preparedailyrevenuereport and F&B coversandsubmittoDirector of Finance/ Accountantforreview.
- Reviewdailyrebatevouchersandcorrectionsof thedayreporttoensureappropriatelyapprovedandexplainedandaccuracy of adjustment.
- ReviewdailypaperworkforeachF&BandFrontOfficecashiertoensuretheyhaveproperlybalancedattheendof their shift.
- Ensure coded checks, voids and discount are recorded correctly.
AssisttheGeneralCashierteam with:
- Tocountandverifymoneyincashier envelopes.
- Topreparebankdeposit slips for cash, cheques, foreignexchangeand credit cards. Arrange pick-up of daily banking.
- Topreparedailyhousebank statement.
- ToprepareGeneralCashier'sdailyreportandmonthlysummary.
- Toprovide allcashiers' dailychange includingweekendfloatsandchange forspecialoccasionswhen required.
- Toundertakeanyotherdutieswhenrequiredbymanagementincludingassistingwithgeneralledger reconciliations.
- Attendmeetingsasrequired
- MeetthegroomingstandardsofthehotelassetoutintheAssociate Handbook.
- Anticipateguest'sneedsthroughobservationandofferprompt,efficientserviceeitherpersonally orthrough effective communication with other associates.
- Complywith andabide byallhotel policesandprocedure andinformation asoutlined inAssociate handbook
- ComplywithMarriott'sCodeofBusinessConductandEthicsandthePolicyagainstInsidertrainingatalltimes.
- Towork asandwheredirectedbyManagementplusfollowallreasonablerequests
