IP NPI Specialist

You have:
- 12-15 years of experience in IP data networking.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or a relevant technical degree
- 10 or more years' experience in a role requiring understanding, designing and Implementing IP Routing technologies and networking protocols
- 10 or more years' experience in designing & implementing Servers / Storage / Virtualized Networks in a decent sized Datacentre
- In-depth knowledge of network architecture, products, tools, and processes.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Knowledgeable on AI DC Fabric. Hands-on with ECN and PFC adjustment. Have concept about UEC.
- Knowledgeable on Virtualization, Cloud and Data Center concepts and related technologies.
- Hands-on experience working in virtualization environments including KVM, Openstack, Openshift, Kubernetes.
- Detailed understanding of IP/MPLS, VX LAN, BGP EVPN concepts and related technologies.
- Nokia SRA/Virtuoso, Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE or equivalent Certification are a plus.
- Works independently and effectively in his / her area of New Product Introduction by defining and running customer pre-sales activities such as: Product or Solution Demos, Lab Trials, Field Trials, Type Approvals on our products or solutions.
- Work in close coordination with Product Line Management and pre-sales teams to align technical solutions with customer expectations and advise customers on Nokia-validated design best practices and architecture principles, persuading them to purchase our products and solutions.
- Interprets internal and external business challenges to improve New Product Introduction related processes and services. Also, integrate cross-domain expertise, including cloud and data center networking, and provide support as a trusted advisor.
- Solve complex problems through analytical thought and complex judgment.
- Provide technical skills and expertise for handling Demos, Proof-of-Concepts, Trials, Workshops and/or Post-Sales activities, in the area of Data Center Fabric mainly, including but not limited to IP Routing and Switching, Broadband Network Gateway and mission critical network domain.
- Validate Use Case(s) by staging and demonstrating them in Nokia labs and/or customer site(s). You help convince the customers' technical representatives that Nokia can provide them with the best technical solution.
- Provide occasional support in diagnosing and resolving customer support requests involving network design, in close collaboration with engineering teams.
- Assist in solution testing and implementation during pre-sales phase. You will prepare and deliver design proposals with support of Pre-sales team.
- Design and support the lab for the use case dedicated to your domain. Communicate, plan and work with lab manager to book and release the equipment in the lab.
