WSP's Water Business Group is expanding, and we have a newly created opportunity for a BIM Leader to join our national CAD and Digital Engineering team. This role is Brisbane-based, with a primary focus on delivering major projects across Queensland, while also supporting key programs nationally.
In this role, you'll lead the rollout of our Water BIM Strategy, driving innovation, standardisation, and high-quality digital delivery across projects.
You'll contribute to major water infrastructure programs, including treatment plants, pump stations, and network upgrades, combining strong local delivery with national collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of Digital Engineering and BIM strategy across Queensland-based and national projects
- Identify and drive opportunities to embed advanced digital workflows and innovation across programs
- Act as a technical leader and digital champion through forums, working groups, and stakeholder engagement
- Mentor and uplift capability across drafting and design teams
- Drive excellence in BIM modelling, coordination, QA/QC, and digital delivery standards
About You
- Proven experience leading BIM delivery within infrastructure projects (water/utilities highly regarded)
- D&C project experience highly desirable
- Advanced capability in Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks and BIM coordination platforms
- Strong understanding of ISO 19650, BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), and digital delivery frameworks
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary model coordination across complex environments
- Exposure to 4D/5D modelling, data-rich environments, and asset lifecycle integration
- Demonstrated ability to lead change, uplift capability, and influence technical outcomes

How You'll Work
You'll be based in our Brisbane office, working closely with local project teams while collaborating with our national Digital Engineering network. This role offers a mix of office, site, and hybrid working-providing exposure to both local delivery and large-scale national programs.
We are also open to applicants based in the Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast.
