About the Opportunity
As the Nursing Unit Manager, you will lead the strategic and operational delivery of the Community Care Intake Service, ensuring timely access to quality, patient-centered care. You will oversee a multidisciplinary team, drive service improvement, manage resources, develop and support virtual and other innovative models of care that improve health outcomes across MLHD. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate nurse leader committed to community healthcare and continuous improvement.
About You
You are an experienced Registered Nurse with strong leadership capability and a passion for community healthcare. You thrive in complex environments, build effective partnerships, and can successfully manage and lead teams through change while maintaining a focus on quality, safety and patient-centered care.
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
Demonstrated ability to apply a comprehensive understanding of NSW Health's future health directions to inform and improve Community Care Intake Service delivery.
Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and driving service improvement.
Strong understanding of contemporary community health service delivery and alternative models of care.
Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution skills.
Experience managing human, financial and physical resources to achieve safe and efficient service outcomes.
Commitment to quality improvement, clinical governance and evidence-based practice.
Current Class C Driver Licence with the ability and willingness to travel throughout MLHD.
