About You
- Extensive underground mining experience, including development operations
- Previous experience in a Superintendent or senior leadership role
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Demonstrated experience managing safety and operational performance'
- Sound understanding of underground mining methods, equipment, and systems
- Ability to interpret and implement mine plans and schedules
- Statutory qualifications (highly regarded depending on site requirements)
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability to work on a rotational roster (2/2 or as required)

Role Overview
Redpath is seeking an experienced Mining Superintendent to lead underground operations at the Federation Mine. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing production, safety, and workforce performance on a major underground development project.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to underground mining teams
- Oversee daily operations to ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently
- Manage supervisors, operators, and contractors across multiple crews
- Ensure compliance with site safety systems, statutory requirements, and company standards
- Monitor and improve operational performance, productivity, and cost control
- Coordinate mine schedules in line with development and production plans
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Mentor and develop supervisors and emerging leaders
- Liaise with client representatives and senior management
- Drive a strong safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives
