Job Description

As part of our Burnside Region relief team, you'll step in to support different OSHC services where you're needed most, giving you the opportunity to meet new teams, build your industry experience, and make a real impact for children every day.

Available Shifts: Pick up shifts Monday through Friday before school 6am-9am shift and after school 2pm-6pm shift. Extra hours available during school holidays too! Minimum availability required for this position is 3 afternoon shifts per week.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

While we're happy to provide training and guidance in the role and sector, here are a few qualities we're looking for:

  • Desirable but not mandatory: Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 1 or 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA
  • National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko).
  • A genuine love for working with children.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!) and a state working-with-children check.
  • Must have valid Australian work rights.
