The role

As a Senior Business Development Manager - NSW/ACT, you'll own and grow one of Prospa's most valuable broker portfolios; driving origination growth by turning relationships into consistent, measurable commercial outcomes.

This is a high-impact, externally facing BDM role where success comes from activity, prioritisation and converting opportunity into revenue. You'll operate with a high level of autonomy, building depth in existing partners while actively hunting new opportunities across your territory.

What you'll be doing

Drive origination through activity and influence

  • Combine road-based relationship building with structured outbound activity (calls, follow-ups, re-engagement)
  • Present Prospa's value proposition in a way that stimulates repeat deal flow
  • Convert partner engagement into consistent pipeline and settlement outcomes

Hunt and create new opportunities

  • Identify and win new referral partnerships across your territory
  • Spot untapped opportunity within existing networks and unlock growth pockets
  • Stay close to market trends, competitor activity, and partner needs

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven success in a senior, externally facing BDM or channel sales role
  • Experience managing and growing large, complex portfolios
  • Strong exposure to broker, aggregator or intermediary channels (highly regarded)
  • Ability to plan, segment and prioritise for maximum commercial impact
  • A true hunter mindset - proactive, driven and opportunity-focused
  • Highly disciplined with activity, pipeline and follow-through
  • Confident presenting to brokers, business owners and stakeholders
  • Ability to translate value into clear commercial benefit
  • Builds trust quickly and positions yourself as a credible partner
