MARINA CONCIERGE - Hamilton Island Marina

Hamilton Island Marina, located in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef, is seeking a customer-focused Marina Concierge to join our team. Supporting a 301-berth marina and a diverse range of vessel owners, skippers, and crew, this role offers the opportunity to combine exceptional guest service with a passion for the marine lifestyle.

Your Role

As Marina Concierge, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our marina guests, ensuring every arrival, departure, and stay is seamless. This is a predominantly water-based role where you'll spend much of your day operating marina vessels, transporting guests, assisting arriving and departing boats, and supporting skippers with day-to-day requests. As the face of the Marina, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional experiences both on and off the water, ensuring vessel owners, crew, and guests enjoy a memorable stay from arrival through to departure.

Where you'll make an impact

Coordinate arrivals, departures, airport, and resort transfers
Meet and greet vessel owners, guests, and crew
Deliver exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction
Assist with vessel detailing, laundry, and linen services
Process payments and maintain accurate records
Respond to guest enquiries and resolve issues professionally
Support Marina Office and boatyard operations as required
Maintain strong relationships with marina guests and stakeholders

What we're looking for

You have a genuine passion for boating and life on the water. You're organised, professional, and thrive on delivering outstanding customer service. You enjoy building relationships and take pride in creating memorable guest experiences.

To be successful, you will need:

Current QLD Driver Licence (Essential)
Ability to obtain a Restricted Driver Authority (Essential)
Coxswain Grade 3 qualification (Essential)
Current First Aid Certificate (Essential)
Advanced Resuscitation Certificate (Essential)
Strong administration and organisational skills
High standard of personal presentation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively with guests, crew, and internal stakeholders
