Apply Job no: KFXYR Senior Test Analyst role Location: Melbourne, Southeast Duration: 6 months/12 months FTC KJR is looking for an experienced Senior Test Analyst to support testing and quality assurance for a critical works management platform in a large utilities environment. The role will focus on validating business processes, system integrations, operational workflows and data flows that support field operations, service delivery and customer outcomes. Experience working within utilities organisations and complex operational systems will be highly regarded. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts across multiple workstreams. Perform functional, integration, system, regression and end-to-end testing. Validate business workflows supporting field operations, works management, and service delivery activities. Test integrations between operational platforms and downstream/upstream systems. Conduct data validation and reconciliation activities across multiple systems. Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, project managers, and operational teams. Identify, document, and manage defects through to resolution. Support UAT planning and execution activities where required. Provide testing estimates, status reporting, and risk assessments. Essential Experience 5+ years' experience in software testing or quality assurance. Strong experience with system integration testing and end-to-end testing. Experience in testing complex enterprise applications. Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into test scenarios. Experience with defect management and test management tools. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Highly Desirable Experience working within a utilities environment (water, electricity, gas, telecommunications, or infrastructure). Experience supporting operational or field workforce management platforms. Understanding of service interruption, outage, maintenance, scheduling, or works management processes. Experience testing GIS, mapping, or location-based systems. Experience with environmental, safety, or compliance-related workflows. Experience in testing integrations with enterprise systems. Advantageous Experience working with Environment management software. Experience with Asset management or maintenance systems. Personal Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams. Curious and proactive approach to understanding business processes. Comfortable working in complex operational environments.
