The Opportunity

Build projects you can actually drive past and be proud of.

We're growing. Our Urban Development team continues to secure repeat subdivision work across the greater Ipswich region. As such we are seeking applications from Project Engineers who would like real accountability - technically, commercially and operationally. This isn't a back-office engineering role. You'll own your projects.

What You'll Be Doing
As Project Engineer, you'll work closely with the Project Manager and site teams to drive delivery across active subdivision projects (roads, drainage, bulk earthworks, services).
You'll take responsibility for:
  • Programming and construction methodology
  • Coordinating supervisors, subcontractors, plant and procurement
  • QA systems, ITP reviews and compliance
  • Monthly forecasting and cost control
  • Variations, scope changes and financial reporting
  • Safety, environmental and legislative compliance
  • Solving complex technical and site challenges
You'll play a key role in ensuring projects meet deadlines, budgets and quality expectations - while building a strong, collaborative team culture on site.

What We're Looking For
We're open to experienced Project Engineers or strong Site Engineers ready to step up.
You'll bring:
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering
  • Proven experience delivering subdivision or civil infrastructure projects
  • Strong financial acumen (forecasting, DJC, variations, cost control)
  • Confidence managing subcontractors and site teams
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Ability to lead from the front and influence outcomes
If you enjoy being accountable for results - not just reporting on them - you'll do well here.
