What you will do

  • Provide personalised support to clients in accordance with their individual support plans
  • Work a variety of shifts including active nights, sleepovers, weekdays, and weekends
  • Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
  • Support the team in facilitating community participation and social activities
  • Support clients in developing life skills and promoting independence
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation

What you will bring

  • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or above
  • A passion for safeguarding human rights and a deep personal connection to working in a purpose-driven organisation
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and a current Class C Driver Licence
  • A current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Passport, Birth Certificate, or Citizenship Certificate to validate Australian work rights
  • Willingness to complete a National and International Police Check (paid for by Afford)
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and functional assessment (paid for by Afford)
