About the role:
The Automotive Growth & Partnerships Manager is responsible for driving the growth, performance, and profitability of Plenti's direct-to-consumer automotive lending portfolio, including digital direct auto channels and OEM/partnership programs.
In this role, you will lead the performance of the automotive proposition end-to-end, with accountability for growing originations, optimising channel performance, and improving conversion across the customer journey. You will leverage customer insights, market intelligence, pricing strategy, and performance data to identify and execute opportunities that enhance acquisition, improve customer outcomes, and deliver sustainable portfolio growth.

In this role, you will lead the performance of the automotive proposition end-to-end, with accountability for growing originations, optimising channel performance, and improving conversion across the customer journey. You will leverage customer insights, market intelligence, pricing strategy, and performance data to identify and execute opportunities that enhance acquisition, improve customer outcomes, and deliver sustainable portfolio growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Own OEM & Direct Automotive Channel Performance: Lead end-to-end growth, performance, and profitability across Direct Auto channels including Plenti's OEM partnerships including applications, approvals, settlements, conversion rates, acquisition efficiency, and contribution margins.
- Manage OEM & Strategic Partnerships: Own and grow relationships with OEM and automotive partners, including campaign execution, pricing initiatives, incentive programs, and ongoing performance optimisation. Identify opportunities to deepen engagement, improve partner outcomes, and support onboarding of new partners.
- Drive Direct Acquisition Growth: Own Direct Auto acquisition performance across digital channels. Partner with Growth and Marketing teams to optimise lead generation, acquisition efficiency, and conversion performance through data-driven improvements and campaign optimisation.
- Pricing & Commercial Optimisation: Develop and execute pricing and commercial strategies that drive origination growth and profitability. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities and implement commercial levers that improve performance.
- Optimise Funnel Performance & Conversion Growth: Lead end-to-end funnel performance across Plenti's Direct-to-Consumer car loan applications, with a focus on improving conversion at each stage of the customer journey. Use funnel analytics and performance insights to identify drop-off points, test improvements, and implement initiatives that increase application completion and approval rates. Partner with Growth, Marketing, and Operations to continuously optimise acquisition efficiency and customer outcomes.
- Drive Data-Driven Growth & Commercial Improvements: Use customer, funnel, and channel performance data to identify opportunities to improve acquisition, conversion, and overall portfolio performance. Translate insights into actionable recommendations that optimise pricing, messaging, targeting, and customer experience. Work cross-functionally to prioritise and deliver initiatives that improve commercial outcomes, customer engagement, and growth efficiency.
- Insights, Reporting & Decision Making: Monitor portfolio, channel, and partner performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Translate data and insights into actionable recommendations and support senior stakeholder reporting. Ensure decisions are grounded in evidence, performance data, and commercial impact.
About you:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years' experience in Product Management, Growth, Partnerships, Commercial, or Portfolio Management roles
- Experience in financial services, consumer lending, automotive finance, fintech, or similar industries
- Proven experience driving growth across B2C and B2B digital acquisition channels
- Experience working with OEMs, dealers, or automotive ecosystems (highly relevant though not essential)
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, growth, or performance optimisation
- Demonstrated success driving origination growth, acquisition, or channel performance
- Experience managing external partners or strategic relationships
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into commercial action
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
