About the Role
SEE Group have great full-time opportunities available Excavator Operators to join projects across South - West Brisbane region, projects include Logan Village, Flagstone, Jimboomba, Ripley and more.

This is a full-time position with overtime penalty rates and allowances.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out pre-start checklists on plant you're required to operate
  • Operate /drive plant properly and safely to suit the individual job conditions.
  • Ensure safety of other team members and the public in accordance with the legislative requirements.
  • Report any fault/damage/problem the plant you are assigned to the Site Supervisor.
  • Service equipment by cleaning, lubricating and re-fueling it and make minor adjustments and repairs when necessary, in consultation with the Workshop Personnel.
  • Keep plant in a clean and tidy state.
Essential Skills and Attributes
  • Hold an relevant RII ticket
  • Have a Construction Industry Induction Card
  • Be reliable and trustworthy with the ability to work with little supervision and be able to work as part of a team
  • Strong safety initiative
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be reliable and dedicated to the role
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment medical examination, including a drug and alcohol screen
