Finance Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis

Reports To: Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Finance Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis to support Aveo’s business planning, forecasting, and reporting functions. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality financial and commercial insights that guide decisions across the business, maintain cash flow and forecasting models, and contribute to BAU reporting cycles throughout 2026. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver reliable data and drive Aveo’s financial performance.

Your Impact

• Maintain, update, and enhance the business plan cash flow model, incorporating current period changes with analyst support
• Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses on business targets, initiatives, and debt covenants
• Model exit and M&A scenarios to support strategic decision-making
• Calculate retirement village cash yields, unit pricing sensitivities, and investment return impacts
• Manage the Group’s short-term liquidity forecast and reporting
• Prepare and review monthly liquidity and bank reports, quarterly activity reports, and risk & covenant compliance certificates
• Support the FP&A team in delivering monthly and quarterly board reports
• Analyse forecast versus actual variances

What you'll bring

• 2+ years experience in FP&A, commercial finance or a similar role
• Advanced Excel modelling skills and familiarity with IFRS concepts
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data
• Degree in Business, Commerce, or related discipline
• Ability to communicate financial insights clearly and effectively
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and the ability to manage competing priorities
